Find Me in Florida Again.

Welcome to Florida during another one of balmy Winter seasons! This is the season where we enjoy balmy Florida sunsets and sunrises, depending on which side of the state you are on. Weather during December, January, Feb., and March is 40s at night, and 60s and 70s during the day. Residents steer clear of crowded Themeparks during the holidays. We have sense. Don't say we didn't warn you. This is not summertime. Ask a resident how we live here. Answers will be various yet the same. Life is different here than "up north" or "out west". Enjoy the gifts of God, we do!Forget about what you should do and just live and try not to be rigid. The sun is shining. Look up and smile. We do.

I think the thing to remember here is this: the Pope is trying to keep the CHURCH ITSELF away from the fighting between the conservatives and liberals.

How about real Gospel values?  I think and I firmly believe with all my heart and brains and soul that readers of the NCR have a problem with serious Gospel values.  Why?  Most do not have prayer life and rarely go to confession more than Christmas and Easter.  They watch others and do not ask God first. Latin Mass means more than Mass itself.  Most are weird. Everything for you all is in a box and must be done YOUR WAY.  Most or many of you all think THINK YOU ARE MORE CATHOLIC THAN THE POPE ANC JESUS Christ himself. Most need serious psychological help because so many are insecure about what real prayer is.  Most or many must pray from a book and not have a serious real conversation with God about where you are at or who you are and what is going on in your life.  Most or many do not believe God speaks through His Holy Spirit.  Most or many cannot turn off the news and talk radio and just shut up and listen to God.  You have a nervous disorder and are immature in your faith because of your developmental insecurity about your spiritual life because the majority of you all have no regular confessor or no discernment.  I no holds barred wonder about people north of Florida where I live.  You come here and criticize us to no end, yet our parishes are bursting at the seams. Our Masses you hate and criticize are SRO most Sundays.
Yes,  we are Catholic but we are not more Catholic or more liberal and conservative than that money eating Limbaugh.  He wants your money and so does Fox News.  They will tell you what you want to hear.
One last q: do you really want to live the faith and ask God?  Some of us here in warm Tampa, Fl., think very strongly that most or many of you patronize beyond the beyond and are frozen in your faith and will eat and believe just bout anything that is on the news.  You forget God.  Many of us here don’t care what you think.  We care what God thinks.  Doing His will and relaxing in that is more important than worrying about abortion, gay stuff and the latest list 24/7 like we can control it if we do.  You forget that God is present and if you pray about it once a day,  and have faith,  it is done.  Please pray about this more than you worry and chit chat to others and worry about others.
There is more to Catholicism than having 10 kids and worrying and commenting on conservative comment boards like this one. It is about relationship with God who loves you more than your worry.  Rm8:28.  Read it.
