Find Me in Florida Again.

Welcome to Florida during another one of balmy Winter seasons! This is the season where we enjoy balmy Florida sunsets and sunrises, depending on which side of the state you are on. Weather during December, January, Feb., and March is 40s at night, and 60s and 70s during the day. Residents steer clear of crowded Themeparks during the holidays. We have sense. Don't say we didn't warn you. This is not summertime. Ask a resident how we live here. Answers will be various yet the same. Life is different here than "up north" or "out west". Enjoy the gifts of God, we do!Forget about what you should do and just live and try not to be rigid. The sun is shining. Look up and smile. We do.

I read Catholic Digest comment board online. I take issue with their distrust of authority and lack of common sense.

Why is it that people have to ask others without authority because they think everyone else or even they have a problem with the anticipated authority’s answer that they will have to ask and accept because they say they are loyal to the Magisterium of the Church?

Well,  I am done done done with idiots and assbleeps in the church!  I am done with them.  Force them to go to the authority!  Game on and game over for the game of stupidity these people try to play on others.   My point: real everyday folks see it for what it is.

But read how prejudice  and fear and ignorance dance on this comment board.  While some ask why do I even go there, I ask and point out that why do they even have this and allow other to see this as a representation of the Catholic family?

Real people where I come from ask questions and go seek authority when they have to find out something.  Then,  you are not responsible for the answer that you are given.  A good analogy would be if you want to go to the moon,  you do not seek an idiot to build you a rocket shop to get there.  Or if you want to sail on the sea, you don’t go seek out a local chapter of Landlubbers Anonymous or those who are afraid of the sea before you buy a cruise ticket.

Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Any families dealing with the issue of the new policy with the Boy Scouts? Any thoughts and concerns?

  • Yeah. It is not my job to police everyone. Here’s how it is. Parents and kids all know the church’s position on gays. They either personally follow it or they don’t. Yet it is not my job to get in someone’s face and do or make their decisions for them. I am not responsible for the decisions of the Boy Scouts. I had to think where I am responsible. I had to read the Catechism and I choose not to nit pick like everyone else. How else are we to evangelize?

  • Good morning! I’m 36 weeks pregnant with my first, and I’ve recently developed sciatica. Has anyone had any success treating it? My doctor offered physical therapy, but I’m not convinced it’d be worth it for these last few weeks.

  • Take the physical therapy. He is an expert and a doctor. Take the therapy. Why distrust the authority?

Do these people want to shoot all gay people?    I have to wonder.  I also have to point out that the Roman Catholic Church accepts them and is against job discrimination.

Take that…………..
